Good luck maintaining that hardware. Spare parts will be hard to come by.

It would have taken tens of thousand of troops to secure that city.

I feel like I’m more conservative than anything, but picking the right thing to do has always sat right with me which is why I have supported a lot of democratic causes especially in the trump era

I think withdrawing is the right decision, but not this way. I blame Biden and I blame trump. It’s become infuriating the people like fat video game boy deepnthroat everything Biden does like the trumpsters do. In fact it’s worse in some respects because these guys (Fisher included) will be the first ones to champion minorities/ rights and play the savior complex but will be perfectly ok with throwing brown people who have risked them and their families lives by working with us —to the side. Virtue signaling is all it is to these guys

give me the racist trumpster over these hypocrites

Withdrawing in a fashion that endangers our allies and their families isn’t about Afghanistan? You’re forming a lot of conclusions without looking at his points and replies on this matter.

THey didn't need it before. It has a police force. I'm just curious if the Taliban wasn't in actually in Kabul, what would be the huge challenge?

No....They don't. The entire Afghan police force collapsed with the military. Threats of Suicide bombers...just like what happened.

Woah man, no need to get personal - just because we disagree.

Could it have gone better, of course, but I think it is a very difficult job and neither you or I are in the room when those decisions are made, and in the end, I am happy as a clam we are leaving a war that we should have left 20 years ago.

I don't think Biden is all that great, but I think here he is doing a very good job in a difficult circumstance and certain people are DESPERATE to criticize him - to make themselves feel better about losing the election.

And I am NOT about throwing people to the side, but that is THEIR country - not ours, if they don't like the Taliban, they should FIGHT for it. It is not the USA's responsibility to fight everyone's fight.....we need more immigrants in this country anyway, our birthrate has dropped and we won't have enough people to man all the jobs soon unless we get more people.
