How was anyone supposed to get to Bagram? It's 40 miles from Kabul. The 3 mile trip from the US embasy to the airport has been insecure for years and you want people to travel 40 miles.

Elections have consequences...deadly consequences. Tell me again, how does this Depends wearing POS with ramen noodles for brains that can hardly reciting facts or complete a sentence without crapping in his diapers win the presidency?

How did he get over 81 millions votes by hiding in his basement and pretending that he was a groundhog that does not see his own shadow?

So it's worse than living in Afghanistan for the past 20 years?

I looked at your post history. I didn't see any mention of your morning service member deaths and chastising the former president over it.

You do know Afghan deaths skyrocketed and us deaths in trumps first 2 years were way up right? Trump came into office and did a surge in Afghanistan which resulted in hundreds of us contractors dying. Don't talk out of your ass

We are not having a conversation about pulling out of Afghanistan. We are watching a cluster fukk of a shittshow by how we are exiting that place. Our soldiers died needlessly and in vain, but at least they died with honor. Too bad, they were led by a buffoon in charge with a bunch of his weasels.

The Taliban has been taking territory for years.

That region has been unstable for centuries. You might want to have a tiny bit of knowledge before spouting off.

The problem isn't trump or biden it's our incompetent leadership at the pentagon. These generals are the dumbest folks in the world. I say this as someone who loves his country but we need to clean house at pentagon. The Iraq War was a disaster yet everyone involved got promoted and Afghanistan has been a disaster under 4 different presidents.

They have been lying to the American public for decades. There commander at the airport in charge should have resigned yesterday but he'll probably get another medal. There's no accountability at all

So service members' lives are less valuable under Trump. That's why they matter less? Is that your point?

Don't be fooled into thinking Trump or biden call any shots on the ground in Afghanistan. It's all done by the generals and admirals who are assigned. There's never been a demotion in the past 20 year's of any general in Afghanistan. It's always another medal and relocation. It's a joke. The commander on the ground at the airport should've known better then to put American troops at harms way. That should've been outsourced to mercenaries or contractors. Will we see his resignation ?

Afghans? Can’t even get them to defend their own city from the taliban. If they can’t fight for their own country how would you expect them to risk their lives for Americans.

Give them amnesty and you'll have tons of them lining up guaranteed. The Afghan commandos we are taking out on planes should have been forced to stay. Forget the Afghani how the hell have the CIA have not developed their own assets there for this type of work ? The cia budget for Afghanistan was close to 5 BILLION. Bottom line is there are other assets there that should have been on the front line.

Evacuation has been going on for a week now. Pull some damn mercenaries from other parts of the world and have them do the dirty work. WTF are we paying the CIA for? They havnt deloped assets while being in the middle east for 20 years?

I'm not one for conspiracies but don't forget that CIA director was in kabul just this week. The CIA makes billions from selling opium and poppy seeds and they have been running the game for 20 years. Alot of ppl are losing out on alot of $$ from this withdrawal. The deep state turned on biden and its obvious. This whole situation sucks

Embassy is a better location than the airport in terms of security to rally an evacuation. It's a 15 minute Chinook ride from the embassy to Bagram. Who cares if the 3 mile road betwen the embassy and the airport is secure....they evacuated via helicopter. One of my friends was a security contractor and one of the last to leave the embassy. They had to engage some bad guys trying to lay IEDs at the gate facing the direction of the airport the day before they left. So securing that road is irrelevant. They also had to go door to door through all the housing on site because the state department morons thought having an all night party the day before evacuation was a smart idea.

And what afghans would you trust to pat them down? It is easier said than done. People want to blame the US and Biden for the hasty withdrawal but where is everyone else? All countries were flat footed. NO ONE foresaw the complete breakdown and surrender of Afghan forces. Not one country.
