See this is stupid right here, they are not equal, not even close.

It is like saying stealing a pack of gum is equal to murder because they are both against the law.

WHATABOUTISM FAIL.....The GOP has been ****ing over citizens for years, taking away rights, trying to limit what African Americans can do, and gerrymandering to stay in power - all while ignoring things like kids getting shot in schools, or that wearing a mask actually saves lives.....

It is just my logic that you don't send kids to places with high probability of becoming safety risk. It was not like this was a sudden event that the US is planning to remove the troops and there is a very good chance that the Taliban will take over the country, even if they do not know how fast the take over will be.

Very irresponsible to use the word stranded for those students. They are not stranded! they are just not where they are... that's beyond the point... Not stranded....

uh-oh, the dreaded "s" word again on CNN . . . when you lose CNN, you know you're losing

Two dozen San Diego students and their families are stuck in Afghanistan

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/25/us/san-diego-students-stranded-afghanistan/index.html

    excerpt:

    By Cheri Mossburg, CNN
Updated 6:02 PM ET, Wed August 25, 2021

(CNN)Two dozen San Diego students and their families who traveled to Afghanistan this summer are now stranded in the country and unable to get to Kabul's airport, school and congressional spokespeople told CNN.

The six families stuck in Afghanistan were there to visit relatives, said Howard Shen, spokesperson for the Cajon Valley Union School District.

"There is not a whole lot we can do at this point," Shen said. "At least we have contact with them."

This picture taken from the top of a hillside shows a general view of Kabul on August 15.

The school district, which serves between 16,000 and 17,000 students from preschool through eighth grade, is home to a large immigrant and refugee population, mostly from Afghanistan and Iraq. District officials have reached out to US Rep. Darrell Issa for help getting the affected families back to the United States.

Issa and his staff "are aware of the location of several American citizens," and are in direct and consistent contact with them, said Jonathan Wilcox, a spokesperson for the representative.

"They are scared, stranded and trapped in the Kabul area," Wilcox said in a statement. "So far, they've been unable to reach the airport. I know the President and his Press Secretary have previously said this isn't happening, but that's dead wrong."

And there ya have it, unable to argue the point about your lame Whataboutism, you go straight to what is on your mind.

Tsk tsk, with losers like you, no wonder the GOP lost the House, the Senate and the Presidency.

Live Updates: Security Threats at Kabul Airport Prompt Multiple Warnings
The U.S., U.K. and Australia warned of an unspecified threat outside the Kabul airport and told citizens to stay away. The warnings came in the last days of the U.S. evacuation, as thousands of desperate foreigners and Afghans tried to escape Taliban rule.

The U.S. Embassy warned Americans to stay away from the Kabul airport and told anyone outside the perimeter to “leave immediately,” citing unnamed security threats.

The British and Australian governments issued similar warnings, with Australian officials describing “an ongoing and very high threat of terrorist attack.”

The warnings came as the last of the estimated 1,500 Americans and countless other foreigners still in Afghanistan try to make it to the airport to leave before the U.S. withdrawal on Aug. 31. Thousands of Afghan nationals are camped outside the perimeter of the airport in desperate attempts to escape on the last flights out, some with documents allowing them to leave.

A senior U.S. official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity about confidential assessments, confirmed that the United States was tracking a “specific” and “credible” threat at the airport from the Islamic State affiliate in Afghanistan, which has carried out dozens of attacks in recent years, many targeting ethnic minorities and other civilians.

The U.S. Embassy in Kabul cited three areas of particular concern in its advisory.

“U.S. citizens who are at the Abbey Gate, East Gate, or North Gate now should leave immediately,” the statement said, without further detail.Marise Payne, Australia’s foreign minister, said at a news conference Thursday that the Taliban will allow Australian citizens and visa holders to leave safely but added, “Our travel advice remains: You should not come to Hamid Karzai airport because it is not safe to do so, and if you are in Kabul, you should shelter in place, move to a safe location and await further advice.”

The U.S. government has been warning about potential security threats at the airport, and access to the airport has been adjusted accordingly, with some gates temporarily closed.

They will be finding U.S. military equipment in Afghanistan 10,000 years from now. Whoever "they" are by then. Could be aliens.

This might be a friendly reminder to taper down whatever p*rn you guys are watching and also to clear that browser cache.

I admit the plot's got more potential than the standard pizza delivery.

@Jontro, any suggestions for these gentlemen of culture?
