Nah, but he was disrespectful and obnoxious... He gets to ride it out a bit longer. I did the same with @Bobbythegreat about Deshaun Watson. He handled it well and we actually both ended up being right.[/QUOTE] I think I'm being quoted repeatedly( I know it's a site issue) I wasn't really trying to give you a hard time but since you say there's history it makes more sense. No worries.
It's true, I didn't trust Watson early in his career due to some really bad decision making....of course it seemed he had turned things around on the field just in time for his bad decision making off the field to derail his career and end his time here....but the time between him turning things around on the field (which admittedly happened really quickly) and him sabotaging himself, I definitely had to hear about it all the time.....but of course, I didn't care, I was too happy about the Texans having watchable games again! Projections are the hardest things to make in sports. If we were all perfect on them, we'd be working for a professional team. Brett Kollmann is a guy who is better at projections than most people.....certainly better than I am, but I definitely remember him going on about how Matt Barkley was all anyone could ever want in a franchise QB at one point... When you miss on a projection that badly, it sucks....but you have to know going into it that those kinds of things are just going to happen and not worry about it when they happen, just take the new information and change your analysis.
We are back fellas! Let’s wipe the slate clean on all the beefs and move it along with good energy. Winning cures all. It doesn’t matter if you are the very first guy to mention a player or you just joined yesterday. Let’s make this board better than the others.
I agree... why take over a terrible team when you could be 1-2 years from a super bowl as a coordinator and then pick a job you actually want.... I would leverage to a pay raise to stay for 1-2 years and ride the gravy train.... You want to replace a retiring coach of a good team, not a rebuild....
FYI Steelers Bros have made us honorary AFCN members for exposing Myles Garrett the “PFF DPOY” (lol). The dislike and Schadenfreude amongst the fandoms in that division is hilarious.
I have def been hearing the hot take that Bobby is the reason CJ is playing so well. This has been popping up. It's small but Ive been hearing it enough for me to be annoyed. If anything I think CJ is the reason bobby is going to get a HC position.
During my lap around the fandoms I found out that Craig Collingsworth owns PFF and used his position to push the use of its stats. Is this true? Steelers fans really dislike it bc they feel that they use ‘imaginary’ stats to make Myles better than TJ Watt. Who they feel makes plays when it counts.
