I've been expecting the worst all season, BS, and I'm starting to feel that it is soo four weeks ago. Not willing to predict 12-4 or anything, mind you. But I'm actually starting to buy that this is a better-than-average team. 10 or 11 wins man. And, they'll make the playoffs by winning the AFC south (you could almost win that thing on accident this year).

I've seen this elsewhere - why are people worried about Carolina? The Tennessee Titans thoroughly dismantled them yesterday; they're terrible. There are two games left where a loss would be understandable - Atlanta and Cincinnati, and, frankly, they're better than both teams. They could have a late-season, mind-drifitng loss, maybe - but if they play the rest of this season like they have these past 4 weeks (132-42, people), they will finish 13-3 without expending too much sweat.

Texans will probably drop one or two games down the stretch, but it'll have to be a letdown - they're the only ones that can beat themselves at this point.

Matt Ryan looked pretty poor late yesterday, from when I started watching (end of regulation). Julio Jones has been red hot or ice cold from game to game - looks like good defenses can snuff him out.

Let's hope Cincy is about to slip off like the Bills.

Not worried per se, but they are pretty explosive and have stayed in games with New Orleans, Chicago, and Green Bay. They do seem to be coming down to earth, though. They are certainly more capable than Jacksonville or Indy, and I feel like they are tougher for our defense to matchup with than Tennessee or Atlanta.

I can easily see 13-3, but as we continue the streak teams are going to gear up for us and I just see Cincinatti or Carolina as the only teams with a chance against us (at this point).

I was hoping you had said this like 3 weeks ago when I saw somebody quote you....but you said this around noon TODAY! You understand that there is about a 90% chance that the Texans make the playoffs now right?? You're not being real....you're being an extreme pessimist! These are not the same Texans. When have the Texans ever dismantled 4 consecutive opponents the way that they just did?? When have the Texans ever fielded a defense that is THIS nasty, with THIS much swagger, and THIS much confidence? When have the Texans EVER been 7-3, #1 in the AFC, 3-0 in the division, with tie-breakers over everybody except the Ravens??

Come on man, it's getting harder and harder to find things to be upset about with this team. Why would you allow yourself to miss out on something we've been waiting for for 10 long years? I'm telling you....you need to enjoy this feeling. The Texans have arrived.

How sad, when good isn't even good enough. :(

Look at it this way, you have a top 3 running back and a potentially top 10 back up if that guy happens to get injured. The best WR in the league (arguably), a QB that has thrown for 9,000 yards the past two years to him, and a top notch defense with an all world defensive coordinator with contributors all around and you still doubt?

I guess everyone will have to see before they believe, I'm glad to say that I defenitley believe now.

^^^ We might still make the playoffs, no way we are a top 3 seed without Schaub

It was going to be a 4 way dance even with Schaub (Pats, Ravens, Steelers) with or without him, we're going to be in that 1-4 spot. Nothing much has changed in that scenario, it's how we play in the playoffs that matters now.

Slipped to number 2 in the conference with Baltimore's win.
