Wouldn't it be a little more insightful to discuss positions by side of the field like OT where there's one on the left an one on the right, especially when your list includes no position with 2 people from the sane tean at any position? If you have Anthony Munoz at RT and Hervé Villechaize at LT It doesn't make a difference how good your RT is. You will end up making David Carr look like AC Green in comparison to Wilt Chamberlan when it comes to the sack....
Is that all I got? Jeez, I didn't know you wanted to fight, dear BUCK. Alls I said was the Oilers will win 7! Why is BUCK being so ornery with a person on the Internet, people? Don't tell me, he's the Internet Bully of Texans, Astros, Comets? Heavens to Betsy. Now what? You're going to google me, & find out where I live now, & murder my family, right? Lighten up, bUCKwad.
Me and Gene see eye to eye. I couldn't let my deep feelings for the Oilers go when they left me... so I became a Titans fan. 7-9 sounds about right. But I really wish we'd drafted Rolle over Pac-Man "Don't call me Lil' John" Jones.
The Titans could compete for a playoff spot if they were to stay healthy, but that is unlikely. McNair, Chris Brown, and Tyrone Calico are all very important to the Titans and none of them seem to stay healthy. Bennett is a very underated wide reciever, but I wouldn't say he is better than AJ. Brown was leading the NFL in rushing for the first few weeks last year, but his injuries slowed him down. Jaguars or Titans are likely to end up with Travis Henry which would give either team the best running back tandem in the division. Colts: 13-3 Jaguars 9-7 Texans: 7-9 Titans: 7-9
That sounds about right, IMO. The Titans, whoops - Oilers, are about to acquire Travis Henry, which on the surface doesn't seem like that big a deal, but last year we played half the year without Chris Brown, & he's quite a few notches above A. Smith. This would be a vast improvement should the fragile Brown go down again.
Now the Titans have an even better back in Travis Henry. I still can't believe Buffalo only got a third round pick for him.
It makes you wonder if Chris Brown is out. Brown was the perhaps the most dominant back in the NFL to start last season. Now Travis Henry comes in. He's basically a 1,300 yard back too, who will not sit the bench. Next year the Titans will have a decision to make. But if they sign Henry long term now you have to wonder what that means for Brown. If they don't, it was a 1 year rental for a 3rd rounder???? I'll be interested to see what the Titans are going to do here. It certainly strengthens the team.
