God I hate the Chargers - a bunch of *****ing punks with Rivers as the ringleader. It's like Champ Bailey said about him - he thinks he is great but he is surrounded by great players.

I want to see the Patriots score 60 on these chumps!

didn't think about it, probably won't happen either, but an eli vs. rivers matchup would have the drama of them being traded for each other.

I'm still going for the chargers, but LT annoys me the most from their team. He seems like the kind of guy that thinks he's "classy" but when his team isn't winning, he's pouting, pointing fingers, arguing with teammates, calling out the other team etc. Classy people don't call themselves classy, thats pretentious.

He seems like he thinks he's classy? thats a big assumption youre putting on him

when has he pointed the finger?

arguiing with teammates? i know he been upset but i don't remember a major argument...then again its football and alot of players will get into a heated exchange with their teammates.

I don't have a connection to any of the teams left. I would like to see if the Patriots can go 19-0. I think a Brady/Favre Super Bowl would be fantastic. I've never really been a Giants fan and I don't see how anyone can possibly play well in the weather they're expecting (last report I saw was a high of 12 degrees). I do like LT and am happy he finally got a couple of playoff wins, but I don't think it's happening this year. The Pats are simply too good. The weather there isn't going to be much better (forecasted high of 16).

A Pats/Packers SB would be possibly the highest rated of all time.

 I guess you'd rather have Tracy McGrady smiling and joking while getting blown out of a playoff game.

Winners don't like to lose ... See MJ ... LT is a winner and accepts nothing less. LT is probably the most respected player in the NFL by his peers and that means something.

I've been following LT's career since TCU. I've never heard this accusation. He's had to carry the Chargers a good part of his career before Brees got good and then the emergence of Gates. Seems to me and most people that he's been the consummate teammate.

I remember being annoyed with some of Tomlinson's comments last year after they lost. I definitely remember him calling himself classy. Seemed like he was whining instead of owning up to blowing it on their home field.

i remember some of his post game comments after a big loss to the pats which he questioned the lack of class on the pats and that they may get that from their head coach....personally i think he's right :D

but other than last years emotional post game interview...is there anyother thing in his career that's stood out other than being the best football player? Nope.

I remember people were saying the same thing about Tampa Bay in Philadelphia several years ago. :(

I didn't watch the Colts/Chargers game because I was at work but, I thought it was amazing that San Diego won despite the loss of their big three. I still got the Pats.

You guys want to know why the chargers play the way the do?

The Chargers just ruined a great game

Everyone with any kind of interest in football has been waiting all season for the defending Super Bowl champions to challenge perfection, and San Diego goes and goofs things up.

INDIANAPOLIS -- What a bunch of Goofs.

Everyone with any kind of interest in football has been waiting all season for the defending Super Bowl champions to challenge perfection, and the Chargers go and goof things up.

Who cares if Billy Volek's high school coach knew he had it in him all along?

This NFL season is all about New England and its quest to become the best team the NFL has ever produced. And to make history, it'd be nice if the Patriots had a challenge.

I don't know how many times I've said it, but the Chargers can't do anything right -- winning when they really didn't have the players to do so -- and now we've got LSU playing Ohio State.

The Chargers have already lost to New England this season, 38-14, and that was before Antonio Gates, Philip Rivers, LaDainian Tomlinson and Nate Kaeding began limping.

The Patriots opened in Las Vegas as a 15 1/2 -point favorite over the Chargers -- New England's biggest task trying to get over the letdown of not preparing to play the Colts.

Shame on the Goofs for ruining everyone's fun, like Cinderella making an appearance at this time of the football season is all that novel.

Any other year, OK, but next Sunday's AFC championship game was going to be something special, a high-stakes drama featuring the game's two best quarterbacks and three hours of TV that could not be missed.

But instead of a week of anticipation, football fans will get daily medical updates and the real prospect of watching an exhibition game with Michael Turner trying to prove he belongs in the same league as Tom Brady.

Bill Belichick matching wits with Norv Turner? Yeah, that's fair.

"I have never been around a more gutsy performance than this one," said Turner after the game -- as if he has that many positive football experiences to fall back on.

Hey, all the credit in the world goes to the Chargers for making Sunday's divisional playoff game in the RCA Dome competitive and entertaining.

But instead of leaving with a nice parting gift, such as a solid moral victory, the Chargers played as if they think we really care how much it means to them to overcome adversity.

This guy maybe sarcastic but his articles arn't far off from what was actually said and written about the chargers chances. They are a young, fiery team and thats shows in their play. They show a lot of emotion and aren't afraid to show it, even amoung charger fans some people like it and some dont.
