Because its a stupid thing to say.

Irony is a much better word for it.

Trying to label it "karma" like the Colts actually DESERVE to lose for resting their starters is just foolish.

Teams rest starters, the Texans would be in the playoffs right now if they had actually beaten the Colts.

This has nothing to do with the Colts and the Jets and has everything to do with the bitter taste in the mouths of Texans Fans sick of watching the Colts run away with the division every year.

    I get it.

Quite possible. If Peyton Manning gets hurt in one of the last two games of the season the Colts probably lose last week to the Ravens and not be playing this game.

A shot at being the first team to go 19-0, and being named the greatest team ever, isn't anything to gain?

The phrase "Karma is a b****" is odd to me. If you believe in karma, then it seems that reveling in the failure of another team would be a really bad idea.

That's certainly true. They might be facing the Chargers right now - a team that's had their number and handed them a home playoff loss fairly recently.

I could be wrong, but I think the Colts would much rather be facing the Jets than the Chargers.

Karma is a b**** is loosely translated as "I hate you and you deserve to fail"

The Jets better hope they can get up by a coupe touchdowns going into the fourth or Manning will not be denied.

    Very good point.

The Chargers I think would have beaten the Colts this year.

Can someone post the link where it gives an explanation of why we don't want to keep tmacs contract. How the salary works and trade scenarios. Thanks in advance.

No, you don't. It's not because of "every year". It's because of THIS year. It's because the Colts didn't play to win, thereby allowing the Jets to waltz in unopposed. It's because the Colts f-ed their fans out of a perfect season AND the Texans out of the playoffs simultaneously. If you can't understand that, it's because you choose not to.

Seriously is this game thread going to be talking about the "karma" or w/e of the last time they played?

There was no guarantee that the Colts would have won that game if the starters did play. Get over it already.

An NFL team worrying about facing a team in the playoffs if they don't beat them in Week 16?

    Thats just incredibly stupid logic.

Wow, that never occurred to me! I guess the Colts really did lose on purpose for no reason.

Which goes back to moe's point about irony. None of that has anything to do with karma.
