9-7 last year, 9-7 this year. COY, don't think so.

How the **** did Marvin Lewis deserve it for getting his QB back and being mediocre again?

    Wouldn't it be Karma...?

Wouldn't it be karma if the Jets went into Indy and knocked off the Colts next week after knocking off the Bengals and now the Chargers. I would have to say that would be some bad Karma for the Colts and Bengals.

mediocre? The Bengals went undefeated in the AFC North and lost to a team that is going to the AFC championship game next week.

    Mediocre, really?

Steelers were bad this year. Browns awful.

They beat some good teams but they were nothing special.

Steelers finished 9-7(same as the jets) and are the defending superbowl champions. Being over .500 = bad?

The Chargers were on a crazy roll. I don't know, the Jets are goofy, they could win. Likely have to pick off Peyton a time or two, but it is possible. The Jets in the SuperBowl, insane; although, after their first game against the Texans, they looked like a team to beat. Then, they kept getting beat, now they are on a roll. I don't know what to think. They will be super pumped in Indy; anything could happen.

I don't see where Karma comes into play. The Colts didn't intentionally scr*w anybody over. The Colts only took a perfect season away from themselves. That is not what Karma is. Karma does not get you again for getting yourself once. I would think the Colts are thinking it couldn't have turned out any better.

Not arguing for Lewis. Just don't think Ryan deserved it. Not improving record-wise is not COY material. Sorry.

Ryan made the playoffs with a rook QB and improved that defense immensely.

    COY.

If Colts lose, Caldwell should be fired immediately. They are the only reason why the Jets are in the playoffs.

I fail to see the application of karma to this scenario.

Only Texans fans seem to not comprehend the concept of resting your starters after you've ALREADY CLINCHED THE #1 Seed.

Jesus people this is elementary stuff.

I hope the Colts win because a) I'm a Colts fan, and b) I want an entertaining Super Bowl. Either the Saints or the Vikings would be a great contender from the NFC, but would blow out a Jets team.

The Jets are nice. They're a kind of fun team to get behind. But they're a year or two away from being elite.

NYJ beating SDG tonight was my dream come true. The Colts could not have had an easier road to the Super Bowl than they have been given this year. Just have to see if they can take advantage.

Going 9-7 with a QB as bad as Sanchez and a WR as bad as Edwards should earn you a Congressional Medal of b********itude.

Yeah, too bad I'm not a Texans fan. But still, they shouldn't have rested them. All I'll say is Caldwell should be fired if they lose to the Jets next week. That's it.

Why the **** should they not have rested them?

You have the #1 seed wrapped up you're playing with house money.

So they don't see them in the playoffs (which they will now) and so they can attempt to get a perfect season. Like I said, the past is the past, but IF Caldwell and the Colts fail, Caldwell should be fired. It's simple as that.
