    Haha...I hope you're wrong too.

I'm curious who the media baits into trash talking first. My prediction is somebody on the Ravens will make some type of "Ed Reed > James Harrison" Defensive POY jab. That or the inevitable "We hate Hines Ward. He's dirty blah blah blah" type of crap they've done in the past.

Well Pittsburgh hasn't gotten worse, that's for damn sure. And they were good enough to beat Baltimore the first two times.

Not me. Living in Baltimore, I usually root for the Steelers b/c they are a connection to my past because of the Luv Ya Blue era. That said, I haven't been more than casually interested in the NFL since the Oilers left Houston. And I'll be pulling for the Ravens this weekend. I really respect they way they closed out the season and won the wildcard game.

The "toughest" defense in the league wouldn't give up a 90 yard drive in the last 2 minutes of a game to lose the game. Regardless of whether you think the Steelers scored a TD, or should have had 4th and goal at the 1/2 yard line, the Balitmore D didn't step up on that drive.

And last week, the Titans moved the ball up and down the field on the Ravens. I think the Ravens defense is very good, and I think they play better against the Steelers, but the Ravens defense is no where near what is was when they won the Super Bowl.

The Steelers defense and the Ravens defense are much different. Balitmore thrives on intimidation, and tries to intimidate you. They make big plays on defense. The Steelers get the sacks, but don't get the big plays like Baltimore does. The Steelers are more content to stop you for 2-3 yards per carry, and force you into 3rd and longs, and make you punt. Both are effective, and both have led their teams all year.

Well, the head of NFL officials reviewed it with the commentators on NFL network and reiterated that it was "100%" the right call... and this coming from a guy who is usually not shy about calling refs out on a bad call.

But regardless of whether it was right or wrong... the Steelers were the better team when it mattered most, yet again.

Add to it the fact that a lot of the Ravens guys are banged up and have played for 16 or 17 straight weeks, and I just don't buy the argument that Baltimore has gotten better while Pittsburgh hasn't.

As a Browns fan, I have to root for the lesser of two evils...or food poisoning for breakfast on game day.

    Steelers all the way baby.

Having Willie Parker healthy for once will make a huge difference with the way the Ravens handled the run last week with Johnson.

its still going to be a very entertaining game to watch but I think Big Ben will make the plays he always does late.

I'd love to see Cards-Ravens...7 players from The U.

But it's more likely to be the Keystone State Bowl.

Haha.. imagine how pissed the networks will be if it's a Cards-Ravens matchup in the superbowl.

worst case scenario as far as ratings go

Nah, ratings would be just as good even if they had Lions-Rams in the game. As crappy as the game itself could potentially be, you're still going to have casual sports fans and non-fans watching the game, either for parties or just the commercials.

I think the biggest portion of the audience is going to be concerned about the actual game and as many have already stated, if Arizona plays either the Ravens or Steelers they won't be watching.

Hines Ward guys. I'm telling you he's gonna will the Steelers to victory. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he grabs 2 TD's.

Steelers relatively big, I'll say 27-13. The only question I had with Pittsburgh was the offense, and they finally got rolling against a good defense last week. Combine that with how the Ravens were dominated in the trenches against Tennessee, and I doubt this one is very competitive.

I went 2-2 last week and for the playoffs I'm 4-4.

I think the Steelers will win the game even though I can't stand them. Too many painful memories from the past prevents me rooting for them.

    Steelers 15
    Ravens 10

I have been batting exactly .500 in all my NFL playoff predictions so far. So, one of my predictions will almost definitely be wrong.

In this game, I am picking the Steelers.

    Ladies and Gents,

Time for me to go. My ticket for the game fell through ( :( ) but i'll be watching the game downtown right in the heart of the action. In the event we win, i'll be sure to post any pictures/videos I take of the madness that will follow. You would have thought we won the SB after how crazy the city was and people were acting back in 2005 after the AFC Championship Game.

P.S. I love that video of Hines Ward being asked if he's scared of the fricken Ratbirds. Ironic, the most feared player and biggest badass in the NFL was being asked that. Wow, that's like David Robinson talking and somebody asking Dream for his opinion. That ridiculous!
