That was a missed call. When the DB trips the receiver it's got to be pass interference. Unlike what the announcer said, Wayne didn't trip by himself. The DB kicked Wayne's left foot which is what started the stumble.
The secondary sure is making some big plays for the Patriots...against most other teams the Colts would have the lead by now. Asante Samuels (is that how you spell his name?) is going to be a rich man..I hope the Texans will be the team cutting his cheques!
Manning is daring Samuel again on these comeback routes... if he gets burned again, its because of his own arrogance.
The Pats look pretty vulnerable to the underneath stuff... too bad the Colts wasted a quarter in trying the over-the-top stuff.
This is VERY reminiscent of some of the past Patriots Super Bowl games... they jump out to leads, get caught, but ulitmately still squeak by. More reason why they never seem like some "dominant dynasty". At least its a good game now...
