Not by as much as people make it out to be. It is very minor, and often not at all. Edit: Last time 2 times I got a ticket, DD didn't even eliminate the fine, just the points.
Just send the proof of defensive driving to both courts....they will never know you used it for another ticket as they are in different counties. I've turned in defensive driving for different counties within a year and have never had a problem...
