    He was gone 2 minutes. To get and pay the bill and leave a restaurant in a group in 2 minutes requires a thought out plan with actual running and jumping over things to get away. From you!

    I say just be cool with it. You don't want to make things awkward especially since you work with her. You should've answered the phone as there's nothing between yall and see what her excuse was for leaving.
