One for the girls and guys on the board. So i get invited to a girl i work with birthday dinner. I turn up expecting to have a few work collegues etc to talk to. Turns out i was the only person from work invited, but anyway have a nice dinner talking to her sister, friends etc.. So night is going well and we end up sitting outside, i go inside to go to bathroom, wander back out and everyone is gone.. I have a look around, mutter some expletives and walk back to my car. 15 minutes later she calls i ignore. She then calls back several times to which i ignore again.. She then sends me a text explaining she went to bathroom and her friends went to another bar and wondering where i was. Now should i remain annoyed with her (as my friends keep telling me) or forgive/forget and move on (as my friends girlfriends keep telling me).
1. Pretty cute. 2. The time it takes for a male to walk to bathroom, do number 1 and wash and dry his hands.
..and when you come back out...everyone was gone? it's like ..."Hey, when this guy goes to the bathroom...were all getting the **** outta here."
Dude, you messed up and ruined her birthday. She made an effort to call you multiple times. You blew it. She is probably off cavorting with your best friend now...the same one who told you to stay annoyed with her is also the one consoling her.

Assuming she's a decent human being, it was probably just an honest mistake. She most likely feels pretty horrible about it, so I'd just let it go. Unless you wanna use it for a guilt trip someday, but that's not a very cool thing to do anyways.
To be honest even if she was lying, it was dumb for you to ignore your calls. I mean, yeah, it seems highly unlikely that her friends left her to go to another bar without letter her, the birthday girl, know about it. But, you should've at least taken her call and let her explain.
Not sure why i would call someone when i exit the bathroom.. It was literally a 30 sec walk from bathroom to table..

So in like the 2 minutes you went to the bathroom they ditched you? Did they leave you with the bill too?
Yeah pretty much.. No thankfully bill was taken care of.. Perhaps i should have offered to get drinks while i was inside that would have kept them in their seats..
