On a serious note....I have to tell you, even though you probably already know, BE FRIGGIN careful! All you need is for some angry, bitter to go off the deep end.

Remind me to tell ya'll the story of the gal I went home with one night, and after we did the funky, she wakes me up, tells me to get dressed fast because her husband was at the door.

I know what you're saying. It's a crazy situation. I didn't go into detail because i'm at work and don't want anyone reading over my shoulder. The cool thing about this girl is that we've seriously become incredible friends (that happened first) and i'm very sure she would not use work to get back at me if things don't work out. I currently live in Portland, OR but i'm planning on moving to Boston to go back to school. I was originally planning on heading over there this August, but due to financial problems, I am going to wait a year. She is not willing to break up w/ her boyfriend because she doesn't want to deal w/ me leaving and is not prepared to commit to moving her kids, etc. It's really tough. We tried to fight it at first and not give in to our desires, but that didn't last too long. For now, I think we're both ignoring what is right and what we should do and kind of going w/ the moment. I've never been in this position before and she says she hasn't either. Of course, I personally think she should dump the boyfriend because its obviously not that great if she can cheat on him, but I think she refuses to do that because then there will be nothing holding us back from really falling for each other. Anyway, sorry to ramble.... It's nice to finally share this.. Thanks for the advice and concerns guys. You might hear more about this in the future.

 

This all reminds me of when I was an intern at a financial company after my freshman year of college. I was 19 and began seeing this 32 year old very hot secretary there. She lived 5 minutes from there and we would often have extended lunches, yet made no mention of it in the office. It was sexy walking by and barely glancing at her in the office and then meeting after work at her place. I guess I never got emotionally attached but she was in amazing shape and would often have guys in the office talking to me about how hot she was, I would just nod and agree with a little smirk.

Luckily I never got attached because I knew that the odds were very much against it. That and honestly, would you want a girl that you first got action off of when she showed up drunk to your work?? C'mon, have some fun and then EJECT!!

As I was reminded of in my last thread by the BBS, just take it nice and slow.

You'd think I would have enough experience to know that by now, and I think I did, but you get blinded by the love. Sometimes it takes some rational heads to figure things out for you.

I wouldn't run, but I'd go much slower. Hopefully it's not too late to do that
