It's easy to immigrate to Canada if you 1)demonstrate the ability to be productive via work history and the ability to speak the appropriate official language of the region (English or French) or 2)if you have money That means if you have a job lined up or have experience in any of dozens of skilled fields they'll process you for immigration. Also if you have like half a million CAD cash they'll let you immigrate to help the economy (which is how all those Chinese and Hong Kongers got into the country) Unlike the US, they do this weird thing where they aren't racist about who they let into the country. Which probably proves there doing it rong. She just wants to come here and live? Is she going to work? Is she going to continue to go to school? Does she want to be a permanent resident, a short term resident or a citizen? All that **** matters in the Byzantine immigration system. The exact first step is to contact the embassy or consulate in your area and the second step is to figure out what she wants to do here in the US. Probably the easiest way to get here legally is to go to school.
Every person I personally know and work with that has moved from London (at least a dozen people) LOVE Houston. Don't underestimate the appeal of big houses with yards to people that have never had one.
Haha nice. And Eve I am willing to allow your sexy friend and her accent to marry me for citizenship. No need to thank me, I am just a selfless human.
Depends on the immigration status, but for a work permit, once I had my paperwork in line (easy to do if you know what you need), it was $150 and 30 minutes with an immigration official at the airport. My work permit is restricted so that I can only work for my company with it, though.
Ah alright. Finishing up my degree in a year in the U.S. but have thought about trying to move to Vancouver sometime in the future. I love British Columbia.
Hate to be repetitive and all....But its really hard to provide sound advice without them....so Pics?
