Well at Universal Studios they charged you, something like anywhere from $15-$35 depending on the day.

At Disney World its free, u just have to pick one up at the particular ride and come back at the specific time you were assigned.

Your not really cutting people. They are 2 seperate lines, one for the fast pass, and one for the normal people that wants to wait. They usually let more of the people in the normal line go first and have few people waiting in the fast pass line, but of course, they wait less cause its a shorter line.

Btw, I forgot to say in my last post, the Twin Dragons ride at Island of Adventure ROCKS :)

Get there before the park opens
    Fast Pass
Bring snacks and drinks. Freezing juice boxes and water bottles the night before worked good for us.
Not an easy option, but bring additional help.

My sister-in-law went with us. She would gather up all the tickets, run around and get a Fast Pass for various rides. Man did that save us a lot of time and energy.

No matter what else you do, go see Islands Of Adventure and ride Spider Man it is just incredible. Its not to be missed if you are anywhere near there.

A few years ago, we stayed at the Coronado Springs in early December... good shuttle service, good pool, excellent overall service... when I complained that my daughter's favorite Princeess, Sleeping Beauty, was never around when they said she would be, they set up a special meeting with her and Prince Philip for my then almost 4-yo. Made her day and she still has the picture hanging in her room.

We spent one day at the Magic Kingdom, one day at Animal Kingdom, one day at Epcot, and one day just lounging around the pool and then to the Christmas Light Parade that night.

(We're driving to Disneyland this August for a couple of days.)
