    Go to Houston Neumesmatic (sic?) Exchange in Rice Village on Times. They specialize in old coins and gold/silver buying and selling.

    I sold a gold coin last week...1998 $50 American Eagle, 1 oz. After calling around, it seems places give you anywhere from 5% to 10% under the current value of gold ($1791/oz right this moment). Jumped $100 since I did it last Friday.

    DAMNIT!
