GNC is overpriced. Go do your supplement shopping online. The only whey you need... Also get a good multivitamin. I take AST Multi-Pro 32x. Some aminos wouldn't hurt either.
100% Marketing Whey protein is more like it. 43 bucks shipped for 2 pounds of whey isolate? Ripoff city. Get it here for 10.50 per pound and be able to specify sweetner and anything else you want in it. http://proteinfactory.com/shop/product.php?productid=43&cat=1&page=1
I've been digging through the old work out sites and noticed this. Sounds like a great deal. What do you recommend adding to the whey? How does this stuff compare to ON?
Drink Milk, LOTS of it. A pretty basic pure-protein supplement (dont go blowing your coin on all these fandangled blends of colustrum/creatine/hgh etc) Reduce your cardio - if your goal is to gain. Its important to realise you can NOT tone and gain weight at the same time. Eat as much food as you can hold.
Why would you do that? Milk is loaded with protein. A lot of body builders supplement water for milk DURING their workouts. And are you suggesting he not eat eggs - what could be better than raw egg. Oh YEAAAAAAAAAH.
milk is also full of sugar and non-essential fats. If you're goal is get big while sacrificing all aspects of health then milk isn't a bad choice. I would never use it before, during or post-workout though.
There are much more efficient/cleaner ways to get essentially proteins than from cow milk. And eggs are not dairy... snap into an Egg! OH YEAH!
Weight close to your max and 3-4 reps. do 3 sets of this on bench press. or any other lift for that matter.
