Oh, one more thing, there is a wildlife preserve right outside of Johnson City on 281, close to the Texas Wine country, while that is sort of cool, what is cool is they have a very nice B&B on site. Link to the preserve Click on the Safari Cabin button for the B&B.... Lots of good B&B's down in that area, but that is one off the beaten path. Also, Lost Creek Vineyard is just up the road, take 281 north and left on 71 about 10 miles and right on 2233 and you will see the vineyard and restaraunt and B&B. The restaraunt is amazing They have the original bar from Dodge City.....and have dug actual bullets out of it from Wyatt Earp, I think. very cool. DD
