I'm 24 and i'm very very VERRRRY afraid of flying. When I was younger I always thought I was going to die in a plane crash, but I'll risk my life to take my daughter to DisneyWorld,

We bought a FAA approved car seat today. After we got it I remembered that we're going to need a car seat to put in whatever vehicle DisneyWorld sends to pick us up from the airport in anyway, so problem solved. You should let me plan your next vacation, so you won't need to rent a car. :)

Benadryl FTW. It will help with pressure changes and have a nice side-effect of making your kids sleepy.

Bring gum for you (no smacking or popping) - it will help your ears adjust. Bring a spillproof cup or bottle for your little one - it will help his/her ears adjust. Give it to him/her on takeoff and landings (ascending and descending).

You won't need a car seat for the plane but have you thought about whether or not you will need one for the transportation once you get there? If you need one, you can check it in as you would a non-carry-on bag.

You have a reading or listening problem. Please see a doctor or train yourself to ReAd and LiStEn effectively.

    1. I never said we stayed at a DisneyWorld resort. It was near downtown Orlando, so we needed a car to get to the parks and back.
    2. You didn't call DisneyWorld to ask if they provide car seats for your two-year-old. Maybe THEY DO, but since you don't read or listen effectively, this will in one ear and out the other.

For what am I posting this helpful information? You won't read it. And, FYI, did you ever stop to think your hubby loves ME instead? ;)

take a pack of gum so your kid will be able to pop their ears during take off and landing.

the chewing helps equalize the pressure between the outter and middle ear.
