Your response pretty much confirmed my post. BTW, if you had read my whole post, you would have read that I still use both OS so...I'm a Mac fanboy because I still use both Windows AND OS X?

I bought an imac in 2002 and its worked flawlessly ever since. No bugs, no crashes, nothing. This week im getting a mini mac to run some music software so that should be cool.

That's what fanboys always say, "I use both" and that makes what they are saying legit. lol yeah right.

Apple for audio/visual media production, and the basics (email, internet, coffee shop type stuff.)

PC Windows 7 for everything else. And if that doesn't sound like alot of stuff left to do on Windows - you haven't held a corporate job. EXCEL FTW.

You're reading comprehension must have escaped you because I clearly stated that I use my Thinkpad because I have Photoshop CS2 installed on it. Thusly, I do media editing on my Thinkpad because it has the software and because it has 4 times the memory available vs. my mac.

If one is a "fanboy", wouldn't that mean they have an allegiance with one and only one system/OS/brand?

If you think it did then explain to me how I am a Mac fanboy? Reason why I am taking this personally is because I've actually recommended Thinkpads for members on this board more so than I have Macs. I love my Thinkpad and Windows XP to the point that I didn't think it would have been smart to part with it when I bought my Mac. I find the familiarity of using Microsoft Office on it (as well as Photoshop and Flash) too good to transfer over.

It's pretty amazing how society has brainwashed many to believe that ALL Mac users are incapable of using both Windows and Mac OS. But I guess some are too narrow minded and/or ignorant to accept that there ARE people out there that uses both platforms.

The reasons MAC fanboys need to use both system because there are alot of stuff they can't do on a MAC especially when it come to softwares/programs. Still they will bash a PC users and being snobby about their superior Apple products.

Are you implying that there isn't Excel on the Mac or other office software?

My reading comprehension must have escaped me but you start the sentence off with a grammar mistake LOLOL

Also, that was my point - first sentence was meant to make fun of you claiming to use a PC to balance your fanboy love of Macs - the second part was how I use PC and Macs.

I DO apologize for that grammatical error since it seems to be more important than the actual comprehension of what I was stating.

As for your "second part" and how YOU use PC and Macs, I didn't get that one bit because there was ZERO mention of how YOU use both. The "second part" had zero reference on how YOU use both.

Are you implying the office/corporate world runs Excel on Macs?

J/K I was trying to say corporate/government world uses Microsoft Office products on PC's, especially Excel - that's what I have used exclusively in various corporate positions. Sorta standard.....

Then I just said Mac's for Audio/Video production are becoming the standard and that's all I use. Final Cut Pro and Logic are fantastic especially connected to Apogee Duet
