This team is far from dead. Even in the 2 victories, they failed to play up to their potential. All teams face adversity at some point in their season, especially in the playoffs. For some that hurdle is higher than others (being tied 2-2 w/ homecourt isn't all that severe). The great teams seem to thrive when their back is against the wall and use that to propel them further.

How will this squad respond to the adversity that they are up against? They may continue to flounder, but I think they will bounce back strong at home. After cooling off, I'm less concerned about what happened in the last two games and excited to see how this team, McGrady in particular, responds to all the negativity that has come about.

This is not the first time that a rockets team has blown a series lead. The championship teams managed to dig themselves deeper holes and still found a way out. People have forgotten where "clutch city" came from. Before that tag existed, there was a huge headline in the chronicle that read "CHOKE CITY".

I hope so, I am just afraid that we don't have the hearts or talents those players had that made "clutch" city" famous. In fact, I doubt we have the talent part. I just hope they can have as much hearts and come out with a sense of urgency and beat the crap out of the j-azz. If Tmac fires up and have a good game I know I won't be over excited because he ought to do that.
