Yes! This exactly. Just as I noted.. it's not entirely even about being more efficient offense. It's just about being more varied offense. If their ORtg dropped 1-2 points but was still top 3 elite, I think I'd prefer it just because it would give them more options to fall back on come playoff time. That said, I don't see why it'd drop their ORtg all that much. If they can't get it to work, obviously they shouldn't run it. But theoretically it makes sense.
