I love cooking, but its my kitchen thats a problem. Unfortunately, at my new place I really dont have very much counter space at all (1 counter to be exact).

Nonetheless, I enjoy cooking stir fry. You can pretty much make several variations of it. Put any vegetables in a pan, mix with shrimp, chicken, beef, tofu, whatever. You can add noodles or rice to go with it. Its easy to make and healthy. The only real killer is the damn soy sauce with all that MSG. You can actually buy Kikoman Lite Soy Sauce and cut down on the MSG, but I think you probably put more on it.

If at any point during this thread you talked of having a "secret recipe", don't kid yourself.

Your recipe has been done before, and giving it away on a BBS will have ZERO affect on your life. Quit the egotism and spread some cooking love.

    do you cook??
I cook the vast majority of the food for our family. Probably 90% of the time.

what kinds of things do you cook for your family, self, friends, or love interest?
You name it, we cook it. We really try to something different everytime. We rarely cook the same thing more than once. If we like a recipe we put it into a binder to be made again at another time. Printing out the recipes is great and you can make notes on it also. Putting them into plastic sheet protectors keep them from getting messy and you can wipe them off easily.

what did you cook for dinner tonight?
Last night I made chicken marsala with pasta. I would love to get a pasta roller so that I can make my own fresh. Maybe soon. They cost $100 just as an attachment for my mixer.

    what is your specialty?
I make an incredible pork chops with an apple sauce. One of my wifes favorites. I also make these shrimp in a sherry wine sauce that is awesome.

do you concider yourself a good cook?
Yes, I am planning on going to culinary arts school once my kids get older. I just do not have time right now so for now it will be trial by fire and watching a ton of Food Network.
