Recall that last year in Dallas, it was his BACK that finally gave out on him forcing him in and out of the lineup. When the Mavs looked at AG, they decided to go in another direction primarily because they came to be convinced that AG could not be depended on to be available to play because of his back. He's also had knee problems in the past as well. AG's biggest problem is that he will ALWAYS get hurt and it takes a long time for him to recover. This lengthy rehab from a knee arthroscope is just the latest in a continuing series of injuries.
I watched the game.He give me impressions as a solid,quick,non-stop running player&defender who's always putting his hands in opponent's face. What's most amazing me is his steal ability. He seems smart enough on timing of steal to avoid foul call. As for his shooting,I have no idea about it yet.
leave the dude alone..right now he's averaging 3 steals a game....that good for #1 in the league! haha...
Could AG and JJ be a combo that equals the "Elie factor?" I have read here that we need a court presence like Elie was (and I agree)... I feel that before Ag returned, JJ was the closest to that. Maybe AG will be also, or more so? Hope so.
Saw him with Dallas and... I don't rmemeber his rookie team, but he made quite a splash when he first came into the league. I like the guy, another guy that knows his role, does the intangibles, is selfless... it can't hurt. Stuart
