"Adelman's style would work well in Houston"

    Agree with you 100%. If the rockets can stay halfway healthy, I could see them easily breaking into the top 3 in league. Under Adelman we will probably see some 10+ win streaks, which are really a mark of a well balanced team.

    It worked well enough to get them the lead late in the 4th quarter of game 7. He didn't strategize the refs making bad calls, the bigs not getting defensive rebounds, or players missing open shots. The gameplan was fine, the execution broke down at the end.

    But that's just it. We rely so much on long jumpers and 3-pointers that if they aren't falling, we're screwed. There's no back up plan.

    I liked JVG while he was here. He had a great season this year and I'm still not sure if firing him was the right thing to do. But one thing I AM sure about is that I am looking forward to seeing what this team can do on offense besides run the pick-and-roll and shoot 3-pointers.

    not much if they dont get some other players that can put the ball in the basket effeciently.

    you cant plan to do something if you dont have the items needed for it.
