I've been making this point for a while to people who think "health" will solve all of the Rockets problems. Not so. This team has serious chemistry flaws and will fold like a tent in the playoffs if the kinks aren't worked out. It's going to take the rest of the season to figure it out. Adelman's unimaginative late-game play calling is a weakness the Rockets must live with.

Alright, easy. I admitted I got the playoffs wrong - but said right upfront that I was not making a direct quote. Besides, the question was muffled and he did say "down the stretch" in his question, which could be interpreted as implying late in the season, or possibly the playoffs.

No need for name calling like "genius" or "jerk".

TSlack is a shell of what he used to be. Laziness and lack of determination has put him on probably on the bottom half of SGs in the league.

Im not blaming the coach. The question was aimed at the players and their confidence at the end of games. To me its obvious. We just arent very decisive and confident in the 4th quarter. When you have COUNTLESS meltdowns like the rockets have had, eventually you start losing confidence, and every shot in the 4th quarter becomes a battle with yourself. I can definantly see that right now. Yao's missed FT is an example of it, ron artest's missed fade away, mcgrady missing layups, rafer missing all kind of shots, mcgrady choking on last shots. It's obvious. These guys don't have confidence in the 4th quarter. It was a legit question, and the coach wanted to say it wasnt. We are running out of time with lots of work to do.

Airballston ... what do you think? We couldn't move him a couple of years ago because NOBODY wanted him. He is at the bottom of the league in FG%. You saw tonight how terrible he is around the rim. He had two layups, but made STUPID passes instead.

Gee, there's a kid on our bench. He's 6' 5". He has a mohawk. I think he might be able to drive. What's his name again? I don't remember BECAUSE HE DOESN'T PLAY MUCH ANYMORE.

I do remember that he made a big shot in the waning moments of a game recently ....

I don't think Adelman was that mad at the reporter... he said "why is that an issue?" He was a little flustered by the question at first, but calmed down fairly quickly. He didn't ask the reporter why he would ask that question.

And another kid who's a midget. And a PF with an imitation tooth. And a former All-Star PG on the highway heading back to Houston from Memphis.

Well my mistake then, you have my apologies. Just saw soooo many above you crying that it probably made your post blend in.

I will just jot this down not directed to anyone specific. Its a coaches job to draw up plan using your five players abilities. Its the PLAYERS job to execute and quite simply compared to the other games other members posted where the player was SO free but missed I simply do not see this game as to where our players executed.

We had plenty of shots in the paint...We just kept blowing layups and dunks. Yao played like crap tonight. Tracy got blocked way too often. Artest couldnt finish, rafer couldnt finish. Brooks couldnt finish

Just a really bad night for guys who play alot of minutes for us.....it may be time to start benching some of them. I would like to see more landry honestly.

I think all the names are appropriate except for possibly Scrubola. He's playing well of late.

    I thought Scola played well.

Add Wafer to that list even with Artest and Tmac in the lineup and I will be happy. He is a GREAT 1st half player why not bring that 1st half player out for the first half?

Scola played very well. Wafer had alot of breakdowns from what I saw. He wasnt given very many minutes tonight, but I saw him making too many mental mistakes out there on both ends. Why not use landry as a SF? he has a legit midrange game now and he's quicker than artest i would say. he needs more time. He's the only guy i trust going to the rim.

Everything is T-mac's fault in his eyes. Every thread he post in you will see the name T-Slack written.
