I would have to agree with you, Ariza takes way too many threes, and way too many contested jumpers, sound familiar? Tmac, at his best when he is attacking, Ariza, from what I have seen, is at his best when he is attacking. As for defense, Ariza is a good defender, but I really feel better with Battier on him, he doesn't gamble on steals, he doesn't normally block alot of shots, but he gets the job done more often than not. I think Ariza is capable of doing what they want him to do, I just don't think he is adjusting well at all. Which is why I will take another opportunity to drop Tmac into this post again, if this is his last year here, and he comes back strong, it will ease some pressure from Ariza allowing for a more gradual transition.
