Hopefully the Rockets have enough blowouts this year that Yao' minutes will naturally reduce anyways. I don't want him playing more than 34 minutes a night.

Any blowout where all of the starters get to sit and the second unit gets to play would be great. That said, as I pointed out at the end of last season how realistic is to expect a lot of blowouts when you're in the same division as the Hornets and the same conference as the Lakers? Not to mention Utah, SA and Dallas? Adelman is going to play Yao for as many minutes as it takes to win.

Just being consisent, once the rox signed barry and traded for artest, there was no need for head and francis. Elson was out there, carney and booth were traded for a 2nd rd pick. Ratliff was also out there. As the gm, I think morey has to recognize the poor balance with the lack of size on this team. They have 4 guys at the 4 with none capable of playing center for long stretches. I mean right now if yao pulls a muscle and will be out for 3-6 games or so, the rox will be starting a guy that's smaller than mcgrady. I mean what happens when yao gets into early foul trouble and the rox are playing La or Phoenix? Not having a reliable backup with length is the same as cowboys counting on brad johnson.
