    Marc Stein: Looks like we have a fairly significant three-way deal that has been submitted to the league just before the trade deadline.

    NBA front-office sources tell ESPN.com that Orlando is acquiring Rafer Alston from Houston to fill the void created at point guard by Jameer Nelson's shoulder injury.

    The Rockets will receive Memphis guard Kyle Lowry, Orlando forward Brian Cook and perhaps two other minimum-salaried players to make the finances work.

    The Grizzlies will receive a first-round pick from Orlando.

    T-Mac is either waived or traded for a major player + C. Hayes + L. Head + 2nd Rounder, and is going to have a brief audio or video conference with him...

    Quite a few teams own several first rounders or second rounders or both that they possibly cannot keep. They'll either trade for future picks or sell them.

    my sources tell me its Baron Davis for Rafer Alston and Shane Battier with a 2010 1st round pick. Luther Head gets traded to a team for a 2nd round pick :p :D :D

    This would only make sense as Rick doesn't want to speak on a trade before the league has officially approved it. What else would Rick want to talk about? He already addressed his feelings on the T-Mac situation so??? I also find it interesting that the head coach has scheduled a press conference, shouldn't it be Morey scheduling the conference with Adelman in attendance? Perhaps only semantics at this point, but worth taking note of... Definitely looking at a smaller deal now though unfortunately.
