Style v Substance, is that the question?

I believe...this is a Tracy play to play elsewhere.

I believe he is kicking in the door so as to be moved.

I believe there are possible/conceivable/maybe/why not destinations across the Association on November 20: Philly, Chicago, Wolves, Griz. Kings, Warriors, Wizards, Cavs & Clips for any of many different possible combinations of return; and reasons - in both directions.

    In your opinion....

But as a fan site, this is what fans do....

And, this one has a poll, a chance to vote, it is much easier to guage reaction by looking at a public poll and seeing whom falls where in a subject than it is to go through 16 pages of back and forthing about any particular subject or player.

I could see that....let's see what happens.

this needs a third option, it's assuming we know the issue is RA vs tmac, we dont. Its seems to me like adelman is just going along for the ride until the front office settles it. adelman doesnt have a final say on anything, if we build for the future or let tmac help now, it'll be a choice made by les/morey with only some input from RA

Sorry no third option, this is a choice between Rick's style of team oriented play and Tracy's style of play.

Both have had success in the NBA, which would you choose?

The good news is that this team doesn't air everything out like, say - a Nellie team.

The bad news is making a Win-Win situation outta this is going to require DM the GM at his finest, and his trading partner, too.

I believe the seemingly inevitable McG deal will be the 'summer' move early. It has to be the right move. (Ellis/Bidriens/Randolph/Buke - McG/Landry/Cook works for me...CP3 works better for me, alas...).

this is the typical response of a typical NBA fan. the same type that votes for national telivised games based on 1 major star on a team.

this is fine. but a lot of people like to see fun team basketball.

The rockets are more fun to watch this year than any I can recall in the past. except for the first 6 games of the Houston vs Dallas series, i would rather watch our current brand of basketball, than watch T-Mac dominate the ball with 40% shooting.

Right now the organization has all the power and holds all the cards, that completely flips to Tmac after the trade deadline as the only way to get value is in a S&T type of deal.

I think the organization HAS to trade him there is no way they would let Tmac control the situation, that has not worked well at all.

You can build toward the future and still let T-mac play.

The idea that it's one or the other is stupid.

Brutal. I'm tired of hearing about Adelmans "style". The guy has been in the league forever and he has coached pretty much every type of team imaginable. He doesn't have his own unique style that the players have to adjust to, its the other way around. He has been so successful as a coach because he takes the guys he has, and he develops a style based on that. I promise you, he would love to be able to do more in the half court game with Yao in the post or Mcgrady on pick and rolls. They just cant do that right now so they have to play up tempo just to get good looks. Its not his style, its just what we have to do to stay in the game.

Adelman's style is team oriented play, it is different everywhere but ultimately everyone is involved.

Every team strives to do that. Alot of teams dont have the talent to do that but we do. I agree in the sense that he's a players coach and allows the players to do what they do best. Thats his "style" I guess, but its the opposite of what youre declaring that he's so set in his ways that he can adapt a player into the fold.

Sure he can adapt a player if that player is willing to adapt.

Tracy might do that, for sure.....but because he needs his touches to get that new deal, it puts doubt.

    Hauk, who goes yonder?
It is I, sire, Richard of Nottingham
Well, speak up man, what is it?
News from the east, sire, Rick the Ruler has returned!

Gather 'round party goers as if your still livin
And get on down to the old Slick rhythm
Now this one here is called the Ruler my dear
Its a mere party booster that will set things clear
Its a hundred percent proof from champions of truth
And if you feel you need spirit I'll bring back your youth
Relax your mind, and folks unwind
And be kind to a rhythm that you hardly find
And off we go, let the trumpets blow
Well hold on, because the driver of the mission is a pro
    The Ruler's back

I highly doubt that will effect how he functions in the offense. McGradys game is based on vision and anticipation. He's extremely unselfish as a ball player. I think that sometimes it may seem like hes not good at moving the ball because they run alot of isos for him, but theres a reason for that. He's probably the best isolation player on our team because of his size, ball handling skills, and his soft touch around the hoop.

this poll should be MOREY and adelman or Tmac, which way to go?

morey is also one of the best things to happen to this organization in a very long time.
