you guys are certainly not the only ones. personally, i have given up on arguing about it here. it's just not worth it. in the end i was here before we got t-mac and i will be here after t-mac but i still think the rockets aren't handling this situation very well.
Actually, I think Adelman and Tmac share a lot of things... Ademan is one of the most talented coaches in nba history. Tmac is one of the most talented players in nba history. They are both easy to be satisfied...
It actually for some reason takes you to the Aaron Brooks interview, but the Adelman interview about Tracy is right beside it. For whoever asked for the link.
What was the issue with Petrovic, Wallace, and Francis? How many championship teams has Adelman coached?
This is really starting to piss me off. If T-Mac is ready, let him ****in play. If he's not, gives us a legit reason on why he's not ready. If you wanna trade, ****in trade his ass already.
it pisses me off that fans can't understand. Training camp and the first month of the seaon was just to see where tmac was at physically, as in, is his knee healed. That was the point of his workouts then, not so much trying to get him ready for the season. Once they did that, got a good mri, then he started training with the team to prepare fo games. Since then it's only been like 3 weeks, usually training camp/preseason is what, a month, so he's right on target to play about a month after the MRI, which would be late december. However, because of a tough schedule and lack of practices, he may have to wait another week or two after that because he needs to get practices in with the team. In short, tmac's training camp didnt' began until the mri cleared him. Yes, he was runnning way before then, but that was mostly in chicago, the team wanted to thoughroughly evaluate him on their own. Just be glad they are being careful and looking out for the team this time around and let's stop complaining..
You know, I have no idea whether they are handling it right or not, none of us do...but I do know that Adelman and Morey have been nothing but professional so I will trust them until they prove otherwise. DD
I think tracy is done with the rockets and expect him probably back around late january or early february
Because he went up against Jordan himself the first time, and then went up against Shaq, Kobe, and the refs the second time? Jesus, this is the dumbest complaint ever - even BSPN themselves have observed that Adelman and Sloan are pretty much the greatest coaches ever that have never won a ring. It's like saying that Lebron or Barkley or Stockton are junk players because they never won rings. Make no mistake, for the Rockets to let go of Adelman for the forseeable future would be a highly unfortunate move. He is one of the elite of the elite coaches in the league (the only coaches I would take over Adelman are Pop and maayyyyybbbeeee Phil, though probably not), and is far more valuable to the team than McGrady. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I wouldn't even put him in the top 5 talented players in Rockets history, and you think he's one of the most talented ever? That's hilarious.
Allright, I'll shoot. Five Rockets players more talented than T-Mac: 1. Hakeem 2. Drexler 3.Moses 4. Murphy 5. Yao And I could use others too, such as Sampson, Lucas, Barkley.
I'll take elite players over elite coaches any day, obviously elite players effect the game more than elite coaches since he that's the reason he's never won a ring.
Call him lazy, heartless, ugly whatever but I bet if you would ask anybody on this board, that has watched basketball thoroughly through years.. if Tracy is one of the most talented players ever... They would answer yes.
Your elite player, when he was 100% healthy = never won a first round. Your elite coach = Multiple Finals appearences, a whole bunch of advancements past 1st round.
I don't think any of them has a better talent than Tmac. But they reached their potential, Tmac hasn't.
