I'm not as much a fan of T-Mac as much as I'm a fan of the Rockets but it would really help if they gave a target date. It would resolve alot of issues.
I have a long story of my own why I became a Rockets fan. To make it short, if it wasn't for Hakeem or T-Mac, I wouldn't be posting here today. My story is a special one.
Not playing tmac is the dumbest thing Adelman has done so far. maybe he's right, that tmac can't play 100%. If we're going to trade tmac we need him to play so other teams can see what he's got left. It's also not exciting watching ariza miss shots all the time and throw punches at people.
This has nothing to do with R.A personal feelings toward Tracy. If Les wanted Tracy to play he would force Rick to play him. I'm glad to see the coaches and mgt are sticking to their plans no matter how many so called fans complain.
NBA is a game of entertainment. I think more ppl get entertained by seeing McGrady on the court than Budinger or Ariza. Entertaining people = $$. In my view, they're irrational.
Exactly, if we can at least see if T-Mac is back, and if he is, resign him b/c you're not getting wade or bron. Teams have noticed our players. Package some of them and make a trade for another all star ala Boston's summer. Yao comes back, BOOM! Were right in the mix again. This is our best option. I LOVE watching this team, but it will fast become a bore when we can't even make the playoffs or we get swept in the first round. Rebuilding would be a better option then going with this team +Yao. That team is a 2nd round team at best. So lets see. This year, play hard, miss playoffs barely or barely make it. Next year 2nd rnd at best. 2 years older for Yao and Scola and Battier before we start year 3 of the T-Mac less Rockets. Start year 3 with no lottery picks to draft that potential star closer. Were going no where.
Thank God Im not he only one who realizes that, I don't understand why everyone wants to run him off when he's our best chance at title contention when yao comes back.
I just watched the Adelman interview where he was asked about possibly playing Mac in place of Ariza, due to the suspension. He jokes about the possibility of trading Mac. Then after a pause says, I mean for one game....a one game trade. Then Smiles.
Why in the hell would we give up Adelman? He's arguably one of the greatest coaches ever, guided us to a 22-win streak, past the first round, and a 7-game series with the future champs.
