I totally agree. A major reason the Hornets didn't have a great record 2 years ago is because they were decimated with injuries the whole season.

theres other coaches who can do the same as rick but rick is a good fit for our coach.

gives us a very good offense that obviously will tear the league in bits and pieces STARTING next season.

he had bibby and webber in sactown, now he has tmac and yao :) .

i hope we never lose our defnese. i dont see how that can even happen but still, pple get lazy.

All the other guys who crap on RA were all in love with coaches who haven't done crap lately.....I remember before we got him.

if you don't want PHIL, Riley Carlisle and Rivers and Brown everyone else are losers PERIOD....

What do you guys want? The rockets to win a ring sure.... but I feel all of you will try to bandwagon or take credit for that happening when it does if ever.

RIGHT COACH for Right now, get over it.....

Any suggestions for better?.... let me guess MARIO ELLIE?... get a life antagonistic whiners.

Great coach who lets his guys ball but not streetball, which is all I've wanted for years now.

Yao has been part of the problem for our first round failures as much as anyone. Injuries have kept this team from competing. A healthy team this year is as good as any in this league, PERIOD. You can't compete unless you're healthy!!!! I'll say it again if you want. We have the right players and coach, i believe in this team healthy.

I dont think there's any way they fire Adelman next season. Adelman is the third coach trying to advance these guys. The constants of the first round failures are McGrady and Yao. If you're counting
Yao = 4 with the Rockets
McGrady = 3 with the Rockets, plus his several before
    Adelman = 1

If Yao wants to go because duck soap tastes better in LA thats his choice.

how are you gonna count 4 with yao when he didnt even play.

its not mcgradys or adelmans fault.. that they didnt win this years match up between the jazz.

what a stupid idea. If you think Yao was not one of the key reasons this team couldn't pass the first round, you are a fool.

Adelman is safe for at least one more year past this one. Les has shown that he gives the head coach at least 3 years before he sends him to the guillotine so even if the Rox & RA flame out in the first round (again) next year, I think that RA will still get one more year to advance the team. I've been on record against this constant turnover of coaches because I perceive it to be nothing more than a ploy by the Rockets management to place the blame for the team's lack of success onto the head coach and not where it belongs which is the Rockets management and owner. The coaches aren't the problem, the players are but try explaining that to Uncle Les (if you do be sure to bring plenty of crayons...).

denniscd has some really good contributions on occasion, so I don't want to respond with "what the hell is your point, exactly?" so I'll just contribute something of my own on par with the thread:

The toyota center is the perfect arena for next year's rockets. (discuss)

94 feet of court, 10 feet floor to rim - she's well set up all right.

DENNISCD is a thousand times better contributor than both of you guys.... neither of you have responded with a better coaching suggestion or an affirmation....... its slow, so positive is better than negative ......

I AGREE RA is a good fit.... better than a predictable RUDY T offense for as of now...... hopefully Scola and Battier hit more shots, rafer keeps getting better.....and I pray to God we don't give Landry a lot of money before he ever develops a jumper.....IMO that dude is not far removed from a lot of guys at Fonde....ONE DIMENSIONAL DUNKER......... PROVEN PLAYER ANYONE FOR A PROVEN COACH?

That adelman is perfect for this team is truer now more than ever!! with artest here now we all know his potential to be a head case, and we already have a head case in my opinion which is mcgrady, but if any coach can do it, if any coach can keep things in order its adelman, he is a players coach and with the team we have now it is important

Also the fact that adelmans game consists of moving the ball is also important so that egos are less of an issue imo
