    Man I hope not...

It doesn't seem like something he would do...

at this point what do we have to lose, the guys out there now aren't working

I don't see the value of playing Cook though, unless we are trying to lose. It's not as if his skills can be improved.

I believe it's just matter of showcasing, and/or simply trying to light a fire under the rotation players since Cook/Dorsey in the game = one of them on the bench.

I'm thinking he's doing this more for Cook's sake.....to show team's what they would get if they trade for his contract. At least that's what I'm hoping......oh please let that be what it is.

Well, if that's true, no more spending money on tickets for me the rest of the season.

If I'm a regular rotation guy for the Rockets, I'd take this as a slap in the face. Dorsey and Cook getting minutes ahead of me? I must really be screwing things up when I'm in the game.

This would be at the expense of Andersen and Hayes for the most part, no?

Don't forget the actual Adelman quote, guys:

Both of them will simply be situational to give opposing big men different looks. That's all. Not tanking. Cease your freaking out or joy, whichever it may be.

Well, its not like the current rotation has been winning at a high clip, so Adelman is experimenting with the lineup to see if the team can break out of their funk.

Adelman's gotten his contract extension, so he's not sweating over winning a bunch of games just to be 1st-round fodder. If he wants to use the rest of this season to get a good idea of what type of personnel he has, I don't blame him.

I think this is a sign that he's unhappy with David Andersen. The guy is not getting it done with the outside shot, and his defense and rebounding has been pitiful.
