Well, that's all we have to offer, so that's good. You can split the MLE among several players so I would be surprised if Morey tried to do that. But if worse comes to worse, I don't have a problem using it on a 1 or 2 year deal with Miller. Who else would we target who would request more than the minimum but take less than the MLE?

That I agree with. However, I don't believe he will be getting a MLE deal.

I like Miller for the reasons all of you have already said. But don't expect a lot of defense from him during the RS, we talk about the typical veteran that barely strives until playoff time (see Rasheed). A lot of people here will get mad on him, I repeat that in the long run I trust him.

Hopefully we can sign him for part of the MLE or the LLE.

Not a bad move. It would allow the Rockets time to safely develop Jordan Hill at the center spot.

everyone screaming "NOOOOOO" tell me exactly why hes not a good option as a backup C? he has great intangibles such as heart hustle defense played in RA's offense in Sac and was successful, I dont wat kinda backup C yall lookin for but hes ideal as his transition will be seamless..
would yall prefer another year of David Anderson as the "stretch C"? lol I dont think so

because they are all under the Bosh hypnosis they dont want any free agent besides Bosh.....this team will be a contender without Bosh

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Budinger/Taylor
    Ariza/Battier
    Scola/Hill/Patterson
    Yao/Miller/Hayes

trade Andersen's expiring contract for a 3-2 and we are set

You mean Chuck Hayes, don't you? Jeffries is taller, a better defender, a better scorer, a better player in almost every way. I concede Hayes has the bigger heart.

Perfect back up C, he just got paid 12 million last year so he's made his dough, he's looking for a ring and a final contract, knows the system, knows he will get playing time, and helps to make Hill expendable for Bosh.

We've seen this coming for months now.

LLE for Miller and MLE for Foye.

If they sign him, that would be a great move. A quality backup C, as others have said.
