If it happens Jordan Hill will especially be expendable since we'll be making Brad our backup center and he wont get much pt behind Scola and Patterson.

I think Scola and Andersen would work well with Miller, in the second unit.

B Miller is asking for MLE. It seems that Morey are trying to spend our MLE on Miller.

If we are forced to give up more than one of our PFs in any potential deal, I think this signing will go a long way to keeping our depth at the position. And seriously, wtf is up with all the NOOO's?? The guy is gonna be coming off the bench......he's experienced, smart, savvy, has a good outside shot, and has played well in Adelman's system. Nobody is expecting him to come in and play 35 minutes a game. This would be a fantastic signing for us.

    plz dont do it adelman...

miller is old, slow, soft and most likely will be overpaid (3+ mill)

this is definitely not a morey's decision but an adelman one. sigh

I'm a little confused here. What happened with David Anderson? I mean I know that he was injured towards the end of the season but dude had a half decent "dream shake" and a better than average 3 point shot! Much like "Z" in Cleveland. Whats wrong with keeping Anderson? Am I missing something?

MLE on Brad Miller? I think that may be too much. I'd give Haywood the MLE though. If Bosh is traded here, maybe we can entice Haywood to come?

Morey wouldn't spend the MLE on Gortat. He won't spend it on Miller. I suspect it's the LLE or bust.

Andersen is SOFT SOFT SOFT and a liability if his mid-ranged jumper isn't falling.

That would be ashame since we'll just be wasting Hill's potential for what...a chance to win a extra game or two?

I hear you but as a backup? I think he's a much better fit than Miller! With Yao in there, he wouldnt be asked to do as much. what about him and yao in there together? i dont know... just an opinion. i think he's better than Miller and not worth waisting time going after him.

It was in no particular order, just listing the players. Obvious Bosh starts!

An inside source, close to the source, tells me that rick is a huge fan of cheesecake. Where else can they get awesome cheesecake? Cheesecake factory! :p Now are they here in houston or Chicago.

What I like about miller is that he is a feisty player. When our team is up in the conference finals, and some douche attempts to cheap shot one of our guys, miller will not hesitate to mix it up.
He fits the system perfectly, hitting the open shot and He is also good at deceiving the refs.(flopping) He is tough and would make a great back up.

So let met get this straight. We are a team that is in win now mode with an injury prone center and we have a chance to get a veteran backup that is already familiar with the system yet some people are very opposed to the idea? Hill is going to be the backup pf on this team or be gone so Miller won't be taking his minutes by being our backup center. Why would anyone be against this unless he is asking for too much money?

    exactly!

There is nothing wrong with having a big vet who knows how to ball as a backup.

This... Patterson has to beat out Jordan Hill to crack the rotation at PF. Besides that we don't know what the big guy is capable of yet. If he can even play 20 minutes the first game of the season I would be pleasantly surprised. We NEED a guy like Miller!
