People saying Tracy will be important in the playoffs are missing the point.

Tracy is NOT important to this team if he is playing HIS game, that will fail, it is proven if Tmac is the centerpiece the team will fail....we have 11 years of data to support that.

What Rick is trying to do is get the TEAM to play better, and play as a team, Tmac is fighting that, as it does not showcase him as much, if he would just take a step back and look at how much better Kobe is playing..within a team concept he could still be the guy....but the GUY on a team....not the GUY with teamates.

So, to be fair,...the team is better with a TMac that buys in, but if he is dead set against that, it is better without him....because Tmac dominating the ball is not going to work.....it is proven.

In the meantime, we have to actually reach the playoffs. What seed would we get playing with a $21 million hole in the lineup? And by the time the playoffs start, why would we screw up chemistry by suddenly inserting Tslack into the lineup?

For example, Von Wafer and Brooks aren't $21 million talents, but they act like they have a $21,000,000 desire to play. Money- and commitment-wise, they're Tslack, inverted.

Did anyone else see last nights game against boston?
so much for not being able to build a team around Yao huh?
Von Wafer can be better than tmac. he plays with heart and is averaging about 15 points these last couple of games.
just give him time and i thnk he can step up big

If we are going to trade T-mac

    just dont include

    aaron brooks
    carl landry
    von wafer

theyre the future of the rockets.
aaron and landry the next john stockton and karl malone. oo snap

    wat about randy foye.
    or the Matrix for t-mac.

ok now i know this guy is doing horrible right now
but what about baron davis? last year this guy was scoring liek a beast, i think he just needs a better team.

that would work out pretty damn good for both teams. i mean i think that baron just needs better and faster teamates around just like in the warriors and the clips need a "real" leader, and strong man to back up kaman, camby, and randolph.

lol or we can wait for agent zero and hope to score him

how about we trade tmac for jose calderon?
wat about danny granger or the matrix?

if we arre able to fix up a trade it would work for all teams included.

    i mean look
for the raptors you get tmac to be able to not only create plays, but take pressure inside off of jermaine o neal and chris bosh. how is that for a big three. bosh, o neal and mcgrady.

for the heat. do i need say anything. d-wade and mcgrady. nough said. talk about clearin cap space for 2010 too.

and for the pacers he would be a big man on the teram to get open shots for mike dunleavy and tj ford. he will be a really experienced player with versatility and playmaking skills.

    now for the rockets

jose calderon = perfect point guard position

Jc, ron ron, battier, scola, yao

danny granger can be our scorer and we can finally put ron ron to great use. be our big small man. (he is 5th in scoring in nba.)
    rafer, granger, artest, scola, yao
    (damn that just sounds raw.)

and with shawn marion, i think he can work with adelmans offense because thats what hes meant for and now we would have 3 defensive beasts. and we can get himto be our scorer and he can be a leader, as proven in the suns.

    rafer, artest, marion, scola, yao

remember that for the last 2 we still have shane battier as a reserve. lets do it now. who is with me

    Sounds points here.

I think DaDakota should have to include V-Span in the tiltes of all his threads. That way at least the majority of us can at least get a good laugh.

Something along the lines of "McGrady for Spanoulis? How does it affect salary cap?"

    Or, "Poll: T-mac or V-mac?!?"

How about "Mini-T-mac or Bizarro V-Span in 1 on 1?". That's a tough one for me, since bizarro implies a Spanoulis that might actually be able to play. Someone start that thread please. The philisophical debate could go on for weeks.

If you're going to make points about addition by subtraction with McGrady. How about some numbers? Rockets record without McGrady. T-mac's Rockets playoff numbers. Etc. Then, maybe there would be some credibility.

Yes. Does it look like McGrady might have given up in one game for some plays? Perhaps. But, he's played his ass off for the most part with the Rockets and been the best player on the team.

How about we suggest that T-mac get healthy, say his mea culpa to his teammates and help then advance in this year's playoffs. Then we can wait until Yao has a bad game and look for the "Micro-Yao versus Mecha-V-Span" thread.
