"Even though they've never been past the second round together, they feature four players who played in the NBA Finals elsewhere: Howard, James Harden, Trevor Ariza and Jason Terry." Didn't brewer go to the finals too?
yep..won the title too...but that's the premier, A grade reporting that is ESPN.. man, i'm praying simmons starts a new media outlet to compete with these crackheads...
Yeah, didn't I just see FTW calling it Clippers in 6 a few days ago? To be fair, I don't think Brewer had much playing time or contributed much for that Chip. I could be wrong, though, I don't follow the Mavs much myself.
Brewer didn't play in the finals and did not contribute much indeed, so I understand why he wasn't mentioned.
Adande is a lot of what's wrong with ESPN now. He's an LA homer that ESPN decided to use as a national reporter. In his writeup of the game, he led off by comparing the game to an episode of Madmen. Seriously? I actually enjoy that show, but only an LA navel gazer would think that a prestige cable tv show has anything to do with JSmoove obliterating the Clippers.
I really wish they would post the 'Dream On' pregame video in high quality. I need more of that in my life, especially since I can only go to about 1 or 2 Houston home games a year living out in LA
Agreed. That video is amazing. Obviously want to win more championships. But also the players can realize that even if they fail ultimately in the end, if they just put 100% heart and effort, they will have big plays, and in some cases super big plays, and they'll end up on that video next year. You can be damn sure Smoove's 3 point barage should be on that video next year.
Brewer didnt really play much on that Mavs team though he was huge in one of the games the Mavs played when sweeping the Lakers - which is probably why Adande hates him
