that's not true. you can always dictate the callers by not taking calls, which they don't as much calls to begin with.

What a great decision. I liked Clanton when he did his own show but I thought he was horrible with Lance.

Sports MT is the man. Hopefully Ross will stick with Matt too though haha

 

Proper Gentleman is going be strange next week. Adam was always a douche, but really fit into the scheme of what Proper Gentleman was.

Can you imagine Matt doing an insta-poll with that crap 70s background music or just something along those lines on the morning show?

And with Adam Clanton moving to noon, no one is going to want to listen to that.

 

Matt Thomas needs to have his own show, he is the best in Houston. He also works great with Ross as his sidekick

Lance always talked over AC and really took over the entire show. AC rarely would debate any topics with Lance outside of basketball.

MT and Lance will be interesting as they seem to like and troll each other. I'll be listening in for sure.

Lance used to be on with CP. He'd occasionally do an hour with MT. It was the best radio in Houston. One time they just made fun of Dylan Gwinn for an hour. They gel.

 

So what is the new lineup? Are they just flipping Matt Thomas and Adam Clanton?

 

This would be great, I dig 'em both. Lance even mentioned this morning that he was caught off guard with a question as he was reading CF.

I've been fading on MT lately, MADD Radio is just a better show during the noon hour. Lance and MT sounds interesting, but there's No chance that I listen to an Adam Clanton led show. Dude is lame af.

 

I have kinda been out on Houston sports radio for the past year or so (only listening in 10 minute spurts at a time) but if Lance and MT are together in the mornings i'll probably give them a listen on my drive in.

I made the mistake of putting 790 a couple of days ago right at 9 and was lovingly greeted by the non ND Kalu host complaining about the Texans winning the division with an 8-7 record and how people happy about that are losers. 12 years of sucktitude blah blah blah all that same tired and contrived idiocy of a narrative that most clueless hosts like to push. Now I understand the loser mentality people some posters around here have b/c i'm sure there are plenty of fools who agree with him.

 

that show will be overflowing with optimism, objectivity and positivity.

Maybe AC wanted his radio schedule synced up with his fiancee's.

Of course that's what it is, fair play to MT to be a team player and make the move. He's by far the hardest working host on 790.
