Looks like he might have to make another Duece Bigalow movie to pay for this.

Just about to post on that, I would be diving for dear life if a car was coming straight at me like that.

    lol, nice.

Does anyone know anything in regard to person who is not on the insurance wrecking the car? Would the actual owner be able to claim insurance on it, even though he wasn't driving it at the time of the wreck?

i noticed this too... the whole barricade shifted, and that dude just stood there and kept filming, or whatever he was doing.

    Was Griffin's Crash a Hoax?

Posted Mar 27th 2007 5:59PM by TMZ Staff

Eddie Griffin's ultra-expensive crash in a $1.5 million Ferrari Enzo has been all over television and the Internet today, but could the pricey wipeout really be a brilliant marketing ploy?

In the video obtained by CBS2 News in Los Angeles, it shows the car slamming into a concrete barricade. But, to quote Dr. Henry Lee from the O.J. Simpson case, "Something wrong."

Roll the video and take a close look at the guy standing next to the concrete barrier. He doesn't even flinch as the car comes near. Also, it's pretty interesting that after the crash, Griffin joked it up, saying, "Undercover Brother's good at karate and all the rest of that, but the brother can't drive."

This isn't the first time that one of Daniel Sadek's high-priced cars have been wrecked. During production of his movie, "Redline," two of the producer/real estate investor's expensive Porsche Carrera GTs were totaled during filming. One of the collisions was designed as a stunt. The other was an accident.

Eddie Griffin's publicist told TMZ, "Eddie was crying this morning." He added Sadek "has no car in his garage now." We're guessing Sadek's license plate doesn't read: "My second car is a Toyota."

Did somebody check the wreckage of the car to see if it had a video system?

He could have been watching p*rn and "putting the sheen on the long brown bean" when he should have been paying attention to the road!!

    :D

The video looked odd to me, the car did not seem to handle like an Enzo....no grip, and he wasn't going all that fast.

    Hmmmmm...could it be a hoax?

Probably not....and I know a guy who has crashed an Enzo too.

    :D

I can't believe that could be staged...What a waste if it was...Yes it is being talked about, but IMO, the accident and the car is, not the movie...btw, i'm not interested in seeing that movie, whether he wrecked the car or not...

If it was staged, somebody's insurance company is going to be pretty testy.

What's with guys named Eddie Griffin and car driving?

The basketball playing Eddie Griffin has vehicular troubles, too.
