    These are big if's but,

    KPJ
    Cunningham
    Wood

    Would be a great start to a really good team, you would have a max spot and the Nets picks to build out the rest of the team. I guess some people just like wallowing in the negative.

    Great over-simplification of the general thought process. The thought process is this. We have him for 3 years on this great contract. We are gonna suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck those three years. So either we're going to have to overpay to keep him and limit our flexibility while we still need to be in asset accumulation mode, or we need to cash in on his improved stock and bargain value before then. It's pretty simple. Also, I think Bosh is his absolute best case scenario. And do you know what Chris Bosh was? The third best player on a championship team. He's just not the guy to build around. So either we'll work it out or we won't but this notion that we should care that Wood came here to win is preposterous and quite possibly one of the dumbest concepts I've ever heard floated on this board.

    I didn't realise Gordon's salary goes down to 16mill next year. He would be a pretty nice fit alongside Wood, especially if his shooting stays up.

    We need to keep losing this year, so if we acquired him and he had some kind of injury, that might be nice....

    I respect your opinion, but Mobley isn't as advanced as Cade on offense. Mobley is a good passer, rebounder, defender. Cade has the advantage of being a playmaker, scorer. He is tall and is a pretty good perimeter defender as well.

    No it isn’t.

    There is no reason for the Rockets to trade assets for AG. Adding someone like Gordon would make sense if the Rockets already had their franchise players on the roster.

    I proposed this b4 the losing streak and got roasted by some people. One poster said Wood is untouchable unless we are getting back a GIannis or Lebron. If the plan isn't to win a ring in 3 years, then we should strongly consider shipping him out. I think the return on him would be one be pretty huge. The return on Wood if he was making double would be huge, but at 14 million I think it's a big deal. A player that gives you 85% of AD's numbers for 1/3 the price for 3 years. The market would be massive.
