saw then roping in more schmucks at the memorial beltway starbucks... I see them there all the damn time roping idiots along...
Here's what you said: "Those who get involved in obvious Pyramid schemes are clearly fools and for the most part get what they deserve. If some happen to turn this ruse into a successful career, then good for them." Why the approval for some? And more importantly why the disapproval for those who might struggle? ACN is not a pyramid scheme. It has been around for more than a decade. I was approached about it about ten years ago and the come-on was the one of the ACC head basketball coaches was a member. I passed in spite of that lure.
Pyramid scheme, MLM, direct sales, it's all semantics. It's a pyramid scheme bro, just because it's been around doesn't make it not a pyramid scheme... just because it's legal here in America (not every country) doesn't make it not a pyramid scheme. ACC coach is a member? Yeah, basketball coaches never get jammed-up in ponzi schemes, just ask Billy Gillispie.
You use the quote feature then misattribute words to the person you're replying to in the same post. I don't think I've ever seen that before on CF. First, you claim I said those who succeed are "heroes". I clearly never said that, and I pointed that out to you, so now you drop it. Now you suggest I am giving my "approval" to some and my "disapproval" to others even though once again I clearly never said that. I won't respond to your questions about statements I never said, and I probably won't respond to your reponse of this which will no doubt attempt to put words in my mouth. I use CF for fun and not for actual arguments, so I'm out.
that's his wife, brah. http://www.modelmayhem.com/304940 I for one, welcome our new friend Chris Howard to Clutchfans
Pyramid schemes are de facto illegal. Most pyramid schemes don't (anymore) survive a couple of years. ACN is more than a decade in age, bro.
I didn't drop anything. Okay, heroes was an exaggeration. Instead you say "good for them" for succeeding but you lambaste the ones who struggle. Most who succeed have endured their own struggles. Not sure how something like "good for them" is not casting approval. BTW, the ones who build it big are, in fact, heroes. They've endured a tough road and have, no doubt, stepped on a few toes along the way, but haven't we all. Have your fun!
Again, semantics... Pyramid, MLM, direct sales -- it's all the same drivel. Weak or no products, downlines, propaganda on-boarding process, bad fashion, divorce, and all around douchebagery. Decade old, whatever. Mary Kay, ACN, pee-pee game, whatever. They're all full of the same bozos and losers resulting in a 2% "success" rate across the "industry".
Wonder if he will come back here and check his "progress" in terms of changing out minds and discover we have instead moved on to his wife.
Legal, illegal -- 2% success rate either way. You can drink 10 beers in your car and go to sleep but if you put the keys in the ignition, even if you don't drive, its illegal. Miniscule difference, same result.
