Agreed...if only to avoid the horrid BO stench that comes with the typical Phish fan.

unless you're 5 rows from the stage and get pelted by confetti guns, tp, and a crowdsurfing nutjob in a blow-up hamster ball. the flaming lips throw the wildest shows. good for a spectacle, then run to BoH when the novelty wears off.

flaming lips are one of my all-time favorite bands, but these days i dont know if i can argue w/ that statement. however, from a live perspective id take the lips anyday. id recommend them to anyone just for the spectacle of it.

this will be my 2nd year in a row to not go after going every day of every previous year. i dont miss it (yet).

I saw Muse last time they played at ACL -- it was an incredible show. The band sounds incredible live and the light show is a trip.

There are still a lot of gaps to fill. I hope they're able to add some R&B acts to their schedule. John Legend and Raphael Saadiq were fantastic last year.

    Saturday is killer for me.

But theres no conflicts that are TOO bad.

Heres the biggest ones i've found so far
Spoon vs getting spot for Vampire Weekend
Two Door Cinema Club vs Gaslight Anthem
    Local Natives vs Silversun Pickups
the xx vs getting spot for LCD Soundsystem
Cage the Elephant vs the National
Deadmau5 vs getting a spot for Muse

Though I think I'm gonna go with a spot for VW, Two Door then the last part of Gaslight's set, Local Natives, part of XX then LCD, and then just stick around after LCD to have a spot for Muse, and I'm not sure on the Cage vs the National. Everyone says the National is great but I saw them on the Bonnaroo webcast and they seemed really boring. I need to actually listen to them first I guess. I'll be seeing Cage at Voodoo Fest so thats not a big deal. And I'll also see Deadmau5 at Voodoo so it doesnt kill me to miss him, even though I really do want to see him.

Also, I haven't listed to BoH and Flaming Lips are one of my favorite bands (And their live shows are quite amazing, I've experienced one), so thats not really a conflict. I probably should listen to BoH from all i've heard though
