    ACL Live Presents
    Duran Duran
As Part of Circuit of the Americas' Fan Fest
ACL Live is honored to present DURAN DURAN for a one-night-only concert during the 2014 US Grand Prix Formula 1 weekend as part of COTA Fan Fest.

The stats on Duran Duran are remarkable: a total of more than 100 million records sold, 18 American hit singles, 30 UK top 20 tunes, and a global presence which guarantees them huge concert audiences on five continents. They are timeless, defying the odds by outlasting their contemporaries and never losing the desire to innovate. Their approach—a fusion of art, fashion, technology, and pop—has always been far ahead of its time, and the band shows no signs of easing its foot off the pedal, as they're currently hard at work on their 14th studio album, with star producers Mark Ronson, Mr. Hudson and Nile Rodgers.

Concert-goers will be treated to a one-of-a-kind VIP experience at ACL Live, Austin’s premiere live music venue. ULTIMATE FLOOR EXPERIENCE TICKETS to the show—the dance party of the year—include multiple open bars, passed hors d'oeuvres, a dance floor, and a spectacular stylized space as only ACL Live can deliver. After the show, the dancing will continue with a private after-party for all ticket holders with DJ Mel on the Music Porch at ACL Live.

    Ticket benefits include:

    ULTIMATE FLOOR EXPERIENCE TICKETS
Treat yourself to a carefully crafted and luscious Austin Experience! An Ultimate Floor Experience Ticket provides you with premium open bars, passed hors d’oeuvres, and a spectacular stylized space. This level is “dancing room only” and also gives you access to the exclusive after-party on the Music Porch.

    MEZZANINE PREMIUM TICKETS
With premium theater-style seating, a Mezzanine Premium Ticket provides you with premium open bars and access to the exclusive after-party on the Music Porch.

    BALCONY GOLD & BALCONY TICKETS
A Balcony Gold or Balcony Ticket provides you with legendary views of the stage in theater-style seating, access to the Jack & Jim gallery featuring the iconic photography of Jim Marshall, and access to the exclusive after-party on the Music Porch.

That price point…wow. Pavarotti in his prime charged less than that.

There is no way these are selling, right?

Duran Duran is a legendary band and everything, but are they really revered enough to justify those prices? Maybe I'm just out of touch with Duran Duran's place in music history.

tears for fears is playing at the austin music hall next week for like $45. if you need your 80's fix they were the better band and you can see them for 1/6th the price.

i think duran duran is out of touch with duran durans place in music history.

id sooner pay $300 to see grace jones.

It's Formula 1 weekend. It will be wall to wall eurotrash, and it will sell out.

People pay $500/night for *crappy* hotel rooms that weekend. It's nuts. If I lived in Austin I would become an Uber driver just for that weekend.

So, according to those prices.... In Duran Duran's mind, they were even bigger than jesus than The Beatles ever were ...

they are jacking up the prices because of F1 weekend.

I wanted to see Sting last time, but Sting was EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE and it was SOLD OUT.

Though ticket prices ranged from $250 to $750, the former Police man packed the Moody Theater Saturday night, 11.16.13.

I saw The Bravery open for Duran Duran back in 2005 for around $50 for floor level seats on row 1. What ever happened to The Bravery?
