I’ve always been a radio homer, so Ackerman will always have a special place for me ever since he was mentored by the great Gene Peterson. Getting to watch him now on League Pass every game isn’t so bad. I respect his link to the championship years and the amount of blood sweat and tears he put in to working for the Rockets organization for 30 years to get where he’s at. the Clippers radio broadcaster Carlo Jimenez is really good. He’s only 24, came straight out of college calling games for USC, got the call up to the big leagues, and has a bright career ahead of him.
The man has grown as an announcer. Hat tip for the work he has clearly poured into his craft. T’other man is groan as a color guy replete with redundancy and dullness.
