Yes it is. The whole team is suffering greatly because of it.

God bless Tmac whatever happens. If surgery is required get it done and start moving out of Htown . If not, trade him immediately and let him get on with his foolishness.

Either way Tmac will retire a rich man. He doesn't give a hoot about what ppl think. Meanwhile the fans are suffering.

yeah cause you know there is no such thing as confidentiality...doctors just love to talk about other patients to every body...especailly with a patient of TMAC's status..doctors are very private...they wouldn't talk to your brother!!!!!

Unless there is more evidence backing this up other than "my older brother works here and they said this and that" you won't get many believers and it may not be worth posting....but I sure hope that isn't the case...

I, for one, sure hope that is the case. However...I think the guy (op) is legit and the information was worth posting. This is what makes clutchfans great... we break stories off of stuff like this. It is bad news but we appreciate the info and the effort.

You better be right, I don't want T-Mac to come back. I can't believe they haven't just said let T-Mac rest for the rest of the season and let's go on without him. Rockets are better without him.

    Two possibilities:

    - The microfracture reports were made up squash any potential trades involving McGrady
    - The reports are legitimate, and the Rockets are hiding it to not disrupt their other trade negotiations

Wow! Is your Brother a Doctor too? Because it is highly unethical for a Doc who gave this news to him, cuz he just violated confidentiality!

But if its true though, sigh... :(

Other trade negotiations not involving McGrady. You lose leverage if the other team thinks you're desperate.

There's a couple of other possibilities as well.

    - The OP is making this up. The Rockets released a press release stating that there was no change in T-Mac's knee and Andrews seems to have reached the same opinion.
    - The Rockets' medical staff changed their minds.

Frankly, I'm leaning towards the first one. There haven't been any news reports that I've seen about T-Mac going in for additional examinations.
