I see why the rockets were trying to hide this, they want to get rid of him while they can. I honestly think we have to pull the trigger on the Artest for Carter deal if we want a shot at a championship this year. We need another 20 ppg scorer as we saw how badly we needed another scorer last year when tmac was the only one and Yao was out. Artest is just not efficient enough to be considered a true scorer, he is a great defender though but if Battier can return to old form then we don't need Artest. Artest cannot replace the tmac from before but Carter can, somehow get Dooling and Carter and we will be fine. As for tmac good luck but i think your done in this league, maybe you can come back as a Michael Finley type of player but your star days are over.

Really like we would know if this is true or not. TmAc and/or the Rockets have been lying to us about the injury for this long, who knows what the truth is anymore...

You want some truth...Tmac has the vertical of a 6th grader, if that.

Im tired of hearing, "there is nothing NEW in the MRI" from team doctors and Tmac himself. Okay so your telling us that there is nothing new, therefore I guess its up to our own speculaton what was in there to begin with.

And this Tslack gets all pissy to media when he is refering to Rockets fans.

Haha you liked that one huh.

I've never understood when people get defensive for other people without reason. I just have a biting sense of humor sometimes.

he said that would be the LAST option (so it's probably on the table if he and the team want it). he doesn't want it though and still wants to play this season.

let's see when the all-star break is over and see what happens. too many conflicting news, from all sides.

    My god.

Microfracture surgery is not "at least one year out", only 4-5 months... Yo like the drama.

Is this a 2nd set of team doctors? I thought his last MRI revealed no damage and supported the the initial diagnosis from team doctors AND personal doctors that he doesn't need career saving surgery?

I think with HIPAA law doctors can talk to other doctors and nurses who are involved in the treatment. Mental health theres definitely confidentiality agreements, but not sure if there's confidentiality arrangements where matters are ONLY doctor/patient and the doctor has to keep a tight lip about injuries

    :::CORRECTION:::
they hever said there was no damage in the knee, all along they have said there is nothing NEW with the MRI. They(tmac and drs.) are using their words carefully and it makes it sound like there is nothing wrong, but Tmac is taking Rockets fans as a bunch of fools and thats why he is getting pissed when he hears the critism.

Tmac thinks he deserves no flack for his injury issues and that we should just trust in him. He actually believes that Rockets fans are the Stupid ones, yet typically 75% of us are the ones that actually attended college.

    UGH IM FRUSTRATED WITH SITUATION

it took amare about 2 years to be back to his all-star status. the rehab process is what takes long.

does clutch or anyone have any insider info? man this is confusing.

Have you had any experience with this surgury. they put hundreds of microscopic holes inside the bone which lets blood soak through the knee. it takes 4-5 months of bed rest sitting in a machine that moves the knee just to rebuild that cartlidge out of the blood that soaked in during the surgury.
You cannot put any PRESSURE on the leg for at least 3 months. Typical rehab time is at least 10-12 months.

This is why it is a surgury ussually only athletes can get, because they are the only ones with the time and the money to sit around for that long.

And ya it worked for Amare at the age of 23. Tracy will be 31 by the time he heals. Never a good thing

Amare needed 5 months of rehab, Randolph 7 months, Webber 8 months.

Also, different doctors can have different recommendations for the same type of injury/MRI they are viewing.

Microfracture can cure him and if he needs it, ...he should do it immediatly to have any chance of playing NEXT year.....

Your looking at just rehab time. The surgury itself takes 3-4 months to set into place. Then rehab starts
