It could be......just going to have to wait and see.......Tom Andrews said that Microfracture is not needed, maybe Tmac is getting conflicting reports...

All of this must be very confusing to him....

I wonder if it were deemed career ending, if we would receive insurance on his contract this year? That would essentially make the contract somewhat of an expiring contract this season for a team that wasn't necessarily worried about the cap implications as much as the actual money being paid out. A team like Phoenix for instance.

and that's what he said at his press conference. he hears good things from one doctor, bad things from another. and he said it's confusing to him.

but whatever tracy says, he's gonna be criticized for not manning up and play and play well. it is what it is.

like i said, if battier was healthy like expected, tracy should never have played the first month of the season and none of this would not have happened.

At this point who knows. He could be telling the truth and he could be lying. I'll just wait to see how this season plays out.

I'm not saying he's lying, but if what he says is true, then that doctor is committing some serious HIPAA violation. Physicians aren't allowed to discuss patients' statuses even to other physicians.

Ive always assumed he really was injured and the doctors just couldnt see it. It wouldnt surprise me one bit if this was true. Anybody that thinks doctors are infallible and dont make serious mistakes needs to do some serious research rather than talk about what they are obviously ignorant about.

I'm not going to deny that McGrady has quit playing hard in many games, and you have the right to your opinion but if he does have surgery,it may be as a last resort to get back to being fit too.
Only time will tell what is going to happen.

Yea, he is not injured. He must just want to quit. But of course for fear of fans like you hating him, rather then just retiring, he is going to have a serious knee operation that takes a year to recover from. All this despitethe fact that he jsut had his first surgery last year and has had a miserable time recovering from that.

I bet its easy to convince doctors to perform needless surgery as well. I bet his knee is 100 percent fine, but someone told him that Rockets9495 doesnt believe him.

So why is it that most of the board came out and whole heartedly believed the guy who had a sister who was at rehab with Tmac and Shane, yet now this guy has no credibility.

I dont know if its true or not, but its crazy how this board reacts to any Tmac news now.

a dr is infallible if it supports your position. We all know there has been plenty of misinformation for quite some time. The truth probably lies in the middle; He might have a slight problem and it probably does cause some pain, but the majority of the doctors tells him its ok. He's trying to find the one doctor to support that its an injury, not his lack of heart. If this is remotely true, he will go through the surgery, and he will never play the same. In three years, he will lay the blame on his knee on why he can't continue playing the way he used to. He will be another washed up superstar.

That is all speculation. Nobody here knows what is really true(including Tmac and the doctors involved im betting). All we can do is guess and obviously we have different guesses.

I also think he is washed up, whether it was his fault or not.

Hopefully, the team will move on without him one way or another. It is time.
